The Flower Cart is a container that holds flower jewelry of colored rhinestones. It leapt off my work table and into it's happy existence in just a couple of weeks of intense work. Usually I have to think about things a great deal, but this idea had a lovely simplicity that charmed me. The most challenging part was that I had to learn about wheels to make them correctly, and the first one took a day to figure out. Since it's creation, another sub-collection of little bug pins has been slowly growing on the canopy!

The box is made of wood covered with raw silk and velvet. The wheels are small wooden embroidery hoops covered with velvet ribbon, ribbon covered spokes and a wooden spool for the axle. The canopy supports are reshaped wooden embroidery hoops, also the push handle. The containers are cardboard tubes from the inside of yarn balls, covered with fabric and velvet ribbon.
