The Sanctuary is made of rich brocade fabrics over board and dowel, with a foundation of wood.  Matching the design panels on the front door was the most challenging part of the whole creation.  The door opens small and then wide, and had to flow perfectly.  I wanted to give the feeling of peeking in, and then being permitted to enter, a dim and richly hung cathedral full of gold and silver treasures.
