What the Thimble Hut really is, is a tour de force of machine quilting, with metallic thread in the bobbin, so all the work is done in reverse: an act of faith!  I admit I practiced a few times, but came the time to do the work and so I did, without stopping and no mistakes allowed!  The box is a great demonstration of the relationship that I have with my sewing machine, my companion of three decades, and a well-known friend.  I am grateful to it that it indulges my fantasies and facilitates my art.  May it run for ever!
